Choose your shoes and running clothes will help you avoid injuries, be more comfortable and more efficient.

You will find that there are many shoes on the market today that speak of quality and robustness. They have styles and looks that people look for in a shoe. However, if you’re looking for a shoe that has both quality and style, then you should definitely look into purchasing shoes from Merrell Shoes women. Here in UK Merrell Shoes well renowned for its design and quality.

Jogging requires little equipment, but better be well equipped. The most important thing is, the shoes, of course. Basically, running shoes are designed to absorb shocks and provide proper foot holds. But any running shoe is not good for all feet.

According to François Lecot, kinesiology professor at the University of Montreal, one must evaluate the types of rider’s feet in two ways: when it does not move, and during the movement. “We must pay attention to the morphology of the foot , width and type of arch of the foot, “he said. Furthermore, we define the type of rider as his stride. The type of shoe, the sole and the kind of support will be different if the foot turns inward or outward, “he says.

Should using a specialist?
It is almost impossible to assess yourself, especially when you’re moving. He therefore advises Lecot to call an expert in a specialty store. “Especially if it’s your first pair of running shoes,” he said. In specialty stores, you look at running a few yards, some even have test tracks. Moreover, we find a great selection of shoes dedicated to the race, unlike the big box stores. “

Is this really the time to travel? All pregnant women should ask themselves the question of the need to travel and assess the risks to her health and her baby. Complications abroad can be life-threatening and this risk varies according to destination and type of trip. If the pregnancy is progressing in a satisfactory condition and the doctor sees no cons-indication to travel, the best time to travel is the second trimester. Before leaving, plan a complete obstetrical examination recorded in the book of pregnancy with marked different analyzes and contact your doctor.

Food and Hygiene: Some diseases transmitted by food or water are particularly severe during pregnancy (toxoplasmosis, hepatitis A and E, listeriosis among others). Wash your hands regularly and thoroughly. Drink boiled drinks or encapsulated. Avoid raw vegetables, seafood, unpasteurized cheeses and undercooked meat.

Long trips: The risk of DVT is increased during pregnancy and should avoid long periods of sitting still. For long flights, we recommend getting up regularly to walk, wear support tights, drinking heavily. The flight altitude is an altitude of 2000 m which is well tolerated. The natural radiation-related theft is not a danger but the repeated thefts are not recommended.

Travel by plane until when? Most airlines refuse to transport pregnant women on international flights from the 32nd week of pregnancy.

Choice of destinations: The visit of developing countries involves certain risks: inadequate medical facilities for obstetric and neonatology, the road accidents, lack of blood banking quality and most common infectious diseases .

Insurance: Make sure your insurance covers you for childbirth and complications of pregnancy (even in Europe!) And that your baby is also assured. If necessary, subscribe to additional insurance and / or emergency repatriation.

Malaria (malaria): Do not go to a country where malaria is endemic. If travel is necessary, you must take all precautions recommended. This disease is particularly severe among pregnant women and may cause miscarriage and severe seizures in newborn infants. In case of fever and flu symptoms, consult a doctor. The only tolerated antimalarial drugs during pregnancy chloroquine and proguanil, which does not protect against all forms of malaria. Can be used mefloquine 2nd and 3rd trimesters of pregnancy. Use mosquito repellent lotions of low concentrations of DEET. Wear long clothing and sleep under a mosquito net.

Vaccinations: Ideally, it would have made all the reminders and vaccinations before becoming pregnant. If necessary, the inactivated (killed) may be administered to pregnant women. The administration of live vaccines (attenuated) is cons-indicated except in exceptional situations where the risk of exposure to the disease requires.

Medications: Certain antidiarrheals and antibiotics are not indicated cons. In case of diarrhea, use of oral rehydration solutions in primary care. Take an antibiotic reserve that is permitted during pregnancy if necessary (urinary tract infection, bloody diarrhea).

Tropical climate: If possible, choose a room with air conditioning, avoid the sun and heat, use a sunscreen, because pregnant women are particularly susceptible to the effects of sunlight on skin, drink plenty of soft drinks or caffeine reliably ( unopened bottle, without ice, boiled).

Sport and pregnancy: Most sports can be practiced in moderation during pregnancy. However, scuba diving, strenuous activities, treks altitude, and dangerous sports-cons are listed.

Signs and symptoms of obstetric emergencies: Consult a doctor urgently if you have bleeding or a significant loss of fluid from the vagina, abdominal pain, unusual contractions, headaches that do not pass quickly, disturbances of vision, taking drastic weight with swollen ankles and general water retention, increased blood pressure.

If you are traveling in an area with little medical infrastructure, it might be useful to take treatments provided prescribed by your doctor for two common diseases in women. This is the simple urinary tract infection and yeast infection. Many factors contribute to urinary tract infections: dehydration, an increase in sex, decreased hygiene (lack of toilet paper for example) and some conditions causing a decline in immunity.

The symptoms are a frequent need to urinate and burning during urination. In general there is no fever. To prevent them, be sure to drink lots of water, empty your bladder regularly, urinate after sex, wear cotton underwear and loose clothing, take you with toilet paper and wipe from front to the back. The other common condition, the yeast infection, often occurs when taking antibiotics, pregnancy or hormonal contraception, and hot and humid climate. It is manifested by itching or vaginal burning and loss whitish. Wearing cotton underwear and loose clothing is recommended. If you have a fever, abdominal pain, blood in the urine, malodorous or bloody, or you have had sex with a new partner, think about the possibility of more serious conditions and quickly see a doctor.

When traveling, women may either have a delay or absence of rules, or instead be faced with unexpected bleeding midcycle. There may be many causes and usually there is no cause for alarm. In order not to be caught off guard, always keep a few towels and tampons at hand. If you notice small hemorrhages during the pill, continue your plate but make sure you have not forgotten a pill! Women close to menopause may have unexpected and prolonged rules that can be alleviated by hormone treatments. For travel in difficult conditions, it is possible, if you take the pill, removing rules for 1-3 cycles. After your last pill, instead of a pause, start the next pack directly. You will have your period at the end of the second wafer.

We recommend you discuss the various contraceptive methods and their indications with your doctor. It is desirable to try a new method at least three months prior to travel.

Birth control pills: Have a supply of extra pills in another bag in case your suitcase is lost. Take the package insert with the pharmacological name as the brand name may change in other countries. By plane, take your pills with you, because your bag will be inaccessible before arrival. The safety of the pill may decrease in cases of diarrhea, vomiting or taking certain antibiotics. It would then use an additional method of contraception such as condoms. The pill should be taken every 24 hours by adjusting the time with the jetlag. If the moment of decision falls in the middle of the night, take one tablet before bed (always rather before and after the calculated time). If you miss a dose, since the delay is less than 12 hours (and that your pill is not especially low dose), the contraceptive effect is maintained. Take the missed tablet and continue following your shots as usual. If the delay exceeds 12 hours, do not take the missed tablet but keep your pad in addition to using condoms for safety.

Male or female condom: Bring an ample supply of good quality condoms are difficult to find your destination. They can be useful if you have problems using the pill (diarrhea, etc..) And are highly recommended in case of sex with a new partner (risk of contamination by a sexually transmitted disease).

Intradermal Implants: This long-term hormonal contraception may be useful for travel in difficult conditions (missions, travel backpacks for several months, etc..).

IUD: The rules are sometimes more abundant and painful and there is a risk of infection during installation. Rarely, the IUD may become dislodged and pose a medical emergency. There should be a pose or a change of IUD at least three months before your trip to ensure it is properly in place and that you tolerate well.
