Sagamore is able to offer you the rare privilege of staying and learning in a National Historic Landmark. As a guest at Sagamore, you will be accommodated in our authentic historic buildings in (mostly) double occupancy rooms with twin beds and bathrooms in the hallways. Our chef will carefully prepare buffet meals served in our paneled dining room with splendid views of Sagamore Lake. In addition to instruction, you will be invited to enjoy our 20 miles of hiking trails, canoeing, and tennis as options during your scheduled program. There are no telephones in rooms and no TV, so your relaxation is assured. For a few short days, live in a camp community enjoying the natural beauty of the Adirondacks. Expect astonishing views of the stars, the scent of balsam in the air, campfires, and crystal-clear drinking water. Sagamore is not a hotel, motel, or resort. It is instead, a complete experience in learning and living a “bit of history” in an incomparable setting.
